I don't know, but if something happened, that's what I wanted you to tell me. The party is a nice bonus, but we should make committee meetings a regular thing going forward, whether they're themed or not.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. [...] He's good at planning events and he is charismatic. It's not the worst fit in the world. I just can't help but feel like we'd have to babysit him a little.

I think that we should have more faith in him. He was a huge support for me this summer, and while I'm sure there was some ulterior motive with that, he wanted to be helpful and he stepped up. We all have our strengths making profit and building this into something more, and his are different than ours. They'd be a benefit. I think it's worth the risk, and him leaving with the troupe is a bigger risk in my opinion.

That I'd get some creative control in the troupe's productions, mostly. He said they're going to vote on it.

Wow, steep terms for an artist. Is there a part of you that wants some of that control because it'll scratch an old itch?

I'm not looking for a hobby. If I'm putting my name on something, it needs to be good.

I just think it's something beyond profit that you'd actually enjoy. Which is good, primarily if it's less about ownership than collaboration. There's longevity and sustainability in partnership with Edgar.
