THE REC ROOM: Bunny & Duke
"I'm a fuckin' delight," he says with a sagely nod. "And shit, man, I don't know if I can find someone to do that. I meant more like... gotta support him into like taking care of his body and then maybe I can worry less or something."
THE REC ROOM: Bunny & Duke
"Hey, you think Frankie's still kickin'?"
He wags his head back and forth in a teetering motion, acquiescing to the point. "Pickin's are -" Not slim. Slim's the wrong word. "Fucked." He pauses, flicks up a finger. "Respectfully. Be hard pressed to find anybody that ain't." A hum of his own. "Think the older you are, the worse of a time you're having with it."
THE REC ROOM: Bunny & Duke
"...dunno. I just sort of pretend everyone's still kickin' unless there's proof otherwise." Seems like the best thing for his mental health. He screws up his face. "Pickin's are fucked. Seems rough to try to have anythin' in all this since no one's having a good time. But again, for some people that's the point. Support, comfort. And yeah I don't think the adults know how to not be... like that." Like that being stressed beyond belief, even in lulls.
