spooky:
- la Llorona - the weeping woman often seen around canals and bodies of water searching for her lost children
- the Bell witch - rl stuff that happened in like, the middle ages, but creepy poltergeist stuff tormenting this family, especially their one daughter
- the vanishing hitchhiker - so many cool little regional variations, but kind of what it sounds like
- waverly hills sanatorium - another rl place, used to be an entire little commune or hospital or whatever for tubbubrcl tb patients complete with its own Death Tunnel
- honestly I know about a lot of spooky places that are real cuz I used to read books on em when I could, so the list goes on

funny:
- the viper - enough said
- idk what it's called but this girl ends up scaring herself TO DEATH by her own actions, even though she thinks its a ghostly force at work
