I think Roswell's being hyperbolic because he knows she's a businesswoman at her core, and she's going to get work for free if she can. Like we all would. [...] Disregarding what Roswell thinks, she seems fine. This alliance will probably benefit Whitney more than the rest of us, so it makes sense they want to play the welcoming host and social destination.

Also, are you seriously going to start calling him an "executioner" in casual conversation?

Not everyone would get free work just because they can. Despite what both you and Mara seem to think.

What do you think he did, Gideon? Are you going to act offended on his behalf? I care about him as much as you, even if you don’t think so. But what he did wasn’t some insignificant accident, and I think it’s a disservice to him, us, and our community not to acknowledge that head on.

I just think it's kind of reductive and pretentious to talk about him like that. If you want to talk about how he killed a guy, just say it.

But I am saying it, Gideon. Very clearly. He is an executioner. He executed someone who has been with Lundegaard since the beginning, because he felt like it or because he thought it was right. I don’t think it’s so odd. Their commitment to clearing hordes has a big impact on life in the Quad.
