I am actually looking for something to keep me active when it is cold. My joints. I expect it will be warmer in the barn, and the physical activity will be beneficial to me, as a ward against stiffness. When I am in my house there is not much room for me to move and stretch the way I require. And I do not want to look un-useful if I go on frequent walks. No, you must express even less. I have been told my face is as open as a rock. Try thinking “rock face” if that helps. Of course, I don’t think anything at all. This comes naturally to me.

I sleep in like, 2 hour increments throughout the day. I get the same amount of sleep as everyone else, I just space them out.

My thoughts are actually quite turbulent. I have trouble with appropriate facial expression.

But I am also not here to tell you how much you should be sleeping. I am here to ask you for your permission to help at the barn, so I am useful when I am keeping my hip warm and limber. What exactly can I do?

You can feed the chickens if you want? I don't want to ask you to do anything that'll hurt your hip more.

Stiff muscles and cold aggravate my condition the most, so the more active the work the better. I like a bit of sweat. When we were building Lundegaard, I felt my best. Paradoxically, now we are done, my condition has been deteriorating.

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe we could build an extension for the barn or something, if that would help?

If this is what you need. I don’t wish to make work for you. And it goes without saying I will stay out of your way. I understand there is a certain pleasure to be taken from working in solitude, and I would not begrudge you that.

I just don't like to burden other people. It's not because I don't want to be around you, or anything like that. I like you.

I'll gladly accept some help if it's benefitting you, until you feel like it no longer is.
