END OF THE WORLD PARTY
Locations
THE OUTFIELD: Beck & Arwen
"Christ," she exhales slowly.
THE OUTFIELD: Beck & Arwen
"Brilliant minds," he greets, eyeing the cigarette as he rewinds his steps back to her. He blinks, clarifies: "Great minds, I mean."
THE OUTFIELD: Beck & Arwen
"Can't believe you'd fumble that," she replies with the slightest bit of humor. "But yes, this is clearly the best place to greet the second end of the world."

"I mean, you could," he concedes, instead shoving his fists in the pocket of his jean jacket. Very casual. "But you'd miss us."
THE OUTFIELD: Beck & Arwen
"And I wouldn't want to stress Mara out by stealing a car. So, I suppose I'm stuck. At least the party isn't terrible."
THE OUTFIELD: Beck & Arwen
Not that he had anything to do with this. If he had, there'd be more marketing.
He nods at the cigarette. "Is this the usual recipe?"
THE OUTFIELD: Beck & Arwen
"This one has a bit of lavender. Figured some extra calm before the storm couldn't hurt."
THE OUTFIELD: Beck & Arwen
"Nice," he tells her, breathing out, watching the smoke spiral. Some things never change.
"You weren't wrong." The stars are wheeling overhead for a second drag. He offers the cigarette back and doesn't move away, but it's not a thing. It's just kind of cold for the current moment. He can feel it in his cheeks and nose, which are blushing.
"How are you? For real."
THE OUTFIELD: Beck & Arwen
"It's nice, isn't it?" Even as she says this though, she's frowning at his question.
"...I don't know." A beat. "A little bad, maybe. How are you?"
